Holy Week
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday as we mark the last week of our Lord's earthly life we remember our Lord's entry into the City of Jerusalem.
8:15 a.m.
The Liturgy includes the reading of a depiction of The Passion by members of the congregation before proceeding with the Eucharist
10:15 a.m.
A moving celebration of Jesus' love for us! The Liturgy begins with the Procession of the Palms as we mark Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. The story of The Passion is told through symbols, which include: the basin, a bag of coins, a chalice, a lantern, a rooster, the crown of thorns, a rough wooden cross, and an Easter lily. This is followed by the Eucharist
Maundy Thursday
7:30 p.m.
This Liturgy celebrates the institution of the Lord's Supper. At the end of the liturgy the adornments, linens and finery are removed from the altar and the church as we remember Jesus' distressed time in the Garden of Gethsemane. For those who wish to stay, keep watch and pray, a prayer vigil follows in the Chapel
Good Friday (God's Friday)
10:15 a.m.
The Liturgy marks our Lord's great sacrifice of love for us. We begin with the Ministry of the Word and continue with The Solemn Intercessions, followed by The Meditation on the Cross of Jesus. “Christ our Lord became obedient unto death!”
Easter Day
(The Day of Resurrection)
8:00 a.m.
The lighting of the Paschal Candle followed by a said celebration of the Holy Eucharist
9:30 a.m.
An Easter “Family” Celebration. An informal Eucharist geared to the younger members of our parish. Come and celebrate the joy of the Resurrection
11:00 a.m.
A continued celebration of the joy of the Resurrection in this Parish Eucharist! Come and celebrate the Good News of God's love for us and all creation!
