This is Fauré’s Pie Jesu, recorded in 2019 by VOCES 8, arranged by Barnaby Smith.
Gabriel Fauré is my favourite composer. He completed his wonderful choral Requiem in 1890. It is still esteemed, but the favourite and most famous section is the beloved Pie Jesu .... in English, merciful Jesus, Lord, grant them peace. A prayer for the dead.

I hear the voice of the whole earthly congregation as they witness our Lord’s suffering on the cross and are lifted in holy inspiration.
